At $0.47 / Pod (coffee/tea) plus an additional $0.25 / Pod (cappuccino/hot chocolate) – Pods are less expensive than K-Cups.
Ranging from $0.50 to $0.80 / K-Cup without the option for cappuccinos, lattes, and mochas. K-Cups are more expensive.
Coffee brewed the way its always been in a paper filter with a larger surface area than K Cups, pre-infused and pulse brew. Pods offer optimal extraction with the ability to whip and froth milk and/or chocolate.
Two holes are punctured by needles in the foil top and through the bottom of the plastic capsules. Water then flows immediately from the top to the bottom hole into your cup making extraction minimal at best.
Coffee in a biodegradable and compostable paper filter packaged by a bullfrog powered facility that makes every pod coffee from packaging to brewing 100% eco-friendly.
K-Cups plastic capsules are NOT biodegradable, compostable or easily recyclable. (you’ll have to separate the foil, filter, and the capsule.)
Best value is Pods.
